Well it is finally here the 6ft Plus Club Video for 2009! Putting this video together brought back a flood of memories from this past year. I can not say it enough; what an AWESOME year for the members here at TSF.

  Welcome to Michigan Shark Fishing Association!

Rare and illusive, more than 30 species of shark call the Great Lakes home. The most dangerous and intense gamefish in freshwater, the Great Lakes shark is a match for any man. The Michigan Shark Fishing Association is an organization dedicated to the breeding and stocking of new bigger more aggressive species of sharks. We hold several fishing tournaments a year where catches have weighed upwards of 375lb per winning entry.

Location of shark – Gosh, where do I start? I’ve done the needle in a haystack bit already!!! The first logical statement to make is that the shark must follow their food. That’s OK as far as it goes, but for us, fodder fish can mean mackerel and herring. It could also mean cod, ling, pollack and coalfish. In coastal areas, it could also include salmon and sea trout. These are the main species, but there are others that must be on the menu too. The starting point must therefore be to fish where you are confident there are plenty of fodder fish potentially available.
